Neelwahn Natural Water Pounds & stream

Neelwahn water pounds are the Roman bathes of Pakistan. Simply very fascinating natural place to visit in summer for some water sports and adventurer activities. Neelwahn valley located near a small village Noor Pur Sethi in salt mine range. From Lahore we traveled through motorway (M-2) and leave at Kalar Kahar Interchange and continued drive to the village Noor Pur Sethi. its hardly 20 to 25 mints drive from kalar Kahar. Noor Pur Sethi is the starting point for trekking towards Neelwahn. The word Neelwahn is the conjunction of tow words Neel-Wahn , ''Neel'' because of blue color of water and ''Wahn'' mean Stream.
from noor Pur Sethi after 30 to 45 mints trekking we were at Neelwahn.

On the way to Killer Mountain

I was 10 year old in 1993 when i read about Nanga Parbat (The killer mountain) in the book  ''Nanga Parbat Ke Deis mein '' written by great writer and traveler Mustansar Husain Tarer, mostly Pakistani known as ''Chacha g''. I fall in love after read about Nanga Parbat in that book. I really want to visit this Mountain but im too young that time but i didn't leave of dreaming Visit to Nanga Parbat. after 20 years in 2013 when i was a university student, i got a chance to visit Skardu with some of my University fellows . on the way to Skardu Near Jaglot a small town, i saw live Nanga Parbat view at Nanga Parbat View point on the KKH (Kra kram Highway the 8th wonder of the world) this was the first scene i saw live from my eyes. its a short time to explore more about Nanga Parbat because of we use Public Transport and our destination is Skardu.

In 5th March 2016 is the day of Departure to Fairy Meadows Nanga Parbat base camp. we depart from Lahore midnight of 5th March and reached Besham in the evening of 6th March and stay at PTDC Motel Besham. Very well organized by KPK Govt (khyber pakhtunkhwa ) Province of Pakistan. Very next day 7th of March without breakfast we depart early in the morning to Chilas. Chilas is a small town located in Gilgit Baltistan on the KKH road.
On the way to chilas you can explore most of the dry beauty in the region and Carving art .

We reached Rai Kot from Chillas in 45 mint drive and get 4wd jeep from there and continue our drive to Tatto village. We Reached Tatto village at 16:30 we get hikking sticks from locals and continue our trekking. after 1 hour the shadows of evening come in our surroundings and convert slowly slowly  into dark. We was continuing  trekking in the dark. It was the toughest trek in my life of Travel. We cross so many dangerous snow slippery places on our way and Reached Fairy Meadows after 5 hours & 30 mints trekking. it was a cloudy night but thank God with no rains. we are too tired, we take Soup and Dinner and after that we didn't know where we fall and when we sleep :)

8th March morning i get up and amazed to see mighty Nanga parbat out side the Windows of our huts. it looks that time a great host to wait when we get up & it welcome us. In my Opinion Nanga parbat is not a killer mountain but a worm welcoming great host.
